Happy Eats Happy Girl.

Hi Fluffies,

It's been a while. I'm finally done with school submissions and in the mood to blog again haha. Recently, its been alot of school work, part time job and eating and chinatown (Ahbubu & I love Chinatown) hahaha. I supposed its a fruitful few weeks too since I've discovered some pretty awesome food because one of my favourite things to do is... EAT. EATING, Makes me happy :)

It's crazy how fast mid-autumn festival came and went. Did you have a great time eating mooncakes like I did? My sweetheart bought me mid-autumn festival inspired crodos from Da paolo gastronomia and it was awesome! Albeit SINFUL. My god, the white lotus paste in it was so smooth.

The one with green flowers was filled with golden custard (it tasted more like cheese though). If you are familiar with liu sha bao (I'll have you know that my favourite is from Hua Ting restaurant), you will understand why we had to try this. It was nice but not amazing.

Whereas the one with the pink flowers, it was wonderful :) Smooth white lotus paste (pronounced as Lian Rong) with fried croissant, does that sound like a ring of heart attack to you already? But it's good for the soul baby.

My prince ahbubu goofing around XD

We took a walk along the mid-autumn festival market at chinatown and bought putu piring. SO AWESOME. It's right in front of the very commercialised food market.. doubt u can miss it lol.

And more desserts for us at one of my favourite chinese dessert places, Tong Shui Desserts @ people's park complex.

After everything, we went for a stroll along the riverside to boat quay. Its a rabbit for me and a rooster for my boyfriend this year!

About 2 days ago, to celebrate my final submission, Ahbubu and I went to have MA LA XIANG GUO at people's park complex. I LOVE MA LA XIANG GUO. I love me an epic bowl of hot spicy veges and I'll take it anytime :)

This ma la xiang guo is one of the first few stalls to be set up here and its definitely wayyyyy cheaper than the ones you find at food courts. Compared to this, those are absolute rip offs. I can't really remember the name of the stall we went to, but after some search online, I'm pretty sure we went to the one called 'Ri Ri Hong'.
Just kidding, it wasn't even that spicy because we ordered a 'xiao la'(Minimum Spiciness level) We're definitely gonna try the medium spiciness next time.

And howwwww can we miss the Gula Melaka Ice kachang at Chinatown's hawker food centre??? If you love ice kachang, you have to try this local traditional version from An Ji Xiang Hua Ice Jelly

Okay so this is not from Chinatown, but Pita Pan Marina Square. One of my favourite Mediterranean vegetarian place with awesome hummus and sweet potato fries :3 We got a groupon voucher with a value of $30 so we decided to head there today (Right after llao llao. WHY.) We both agreed that it's probably better to be here after on an empty stomach hahaha

Couldn't stomach the amount of sin on my tray so today ended with some blogilates butt work and tea :)
